 ng the place of our annual Hootenanny\, with a focus on community and crea
 ting financial support for our church.  The lunch and activities after th
 e 10:30 service will include decorating altars for the Day of the Dead\, c
 elebrating All Saints Day\, and feasting on a Baked Potato Bar with all th
 e fixings.\n \nThe Episcopal Church observes All Saints' Day this year on
  November 1st.  It celebrates God’s holy people—both famous historica
 l saints and everyday ordinary believers.  Many congregations (including 
 ours) read aloud the names of members who have died in the past year. It i
 s also the three-year anniversary of Reverend Ashley's ordination to the p
 riesthood!\n \nThe Day of the Dead\, or Día de los Muertos\, is also cel
 ebrated on November 1st and is a Mexican holiday that honors and remembers
  deceased loved ones.  Often\, people build and decorate altars with phot
 os\, candles\, and flowers to welcome returning souls on this special Day.
 \n \nOur party on Sunday\, November 1st will combine these two beloved tr
 aditions\, with great food\, the painting of murals\, and the creation of
