Here at St. Luke’s, we have a wonderful tradition of fellowship and hospitality - Holy Eucharist - followed by holy hospitality hour. Hospitality Hour is a special part of that tradition. So what are the ingredients of a successful coffee hour? As we know, coffee hours don’t just happen. They take conscious effort and some committed people.
HOSPITALITY HOUR SERVES TO:
encourage fellowship catch up with friends. welcome newcomers. encourage conversation
provide small bites and beverages
create a ministry of hospitality
HOST DUTIES: Hosting is simple
bring simple snacks brew coffee set out food make lemonade set out water clean up
Plates, cups, cutlery, and coffee, are supplied.
TIP: Pair up with a co-host and split the duties
