--As St. Luke’s prepares to host Rooted in Jesus on April 25, we have a special opportunity in front of us.
This isn’t just a diocesan event happening here. It’s a chance for us, as a parish, to practice invitation.
We’re asking each of you to consider inviting one person from your life to come with you.
Someone who might be:
- Curious about faith
- New to the area
- Looking for something deeper
- Or just open to a day of reflection, conversation, and community
You don’t need the perfect words. A simple invitation is enough:
“Our church is hosting a day with music, food, conversation, and worship. Would you come with me?”
That’s it.
Rooted in Jesus is designed to be a welcoming, accessible space—for those who are deeply rooted in faith and for those just beginning to explore it.
So take a moment this week. Pray. Think of one person. And invite them.
