As the name suggests, Autumn Gospel invites women in “the second half of life” to reflect on past life experiences, their insights and wisdom, so we might more fully engage opportunities for spiritual growth and graceful service in our maturing years. Drawing on the writings of spiritual teachers such as Parker J. Palmer, Richard Rohr, and Barbara Brown Taylor, we weave our lively discussions of the readings into our daily conversations. By doing so, we open ourselves to fresh spiritual energy and grace to deepen our relationship with God in Jesus, both individually and together, as companions following in the Way of Jesus. This group draws 8 to 12 women to each meeting—large enough to be rich in ideas, small enough to allow everyone to engage. We are open, warm, and welcoming. We meet on the fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. on-site at St. Luke’s and include those off-site via Zoom. If you would like to join us to sample our joys, our hope, and humor, or to find out anything more, please contact Jessica Hatch at jhsk5046@gmail.com
