Diocesan Convention ’26 is the annual gathering of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah, bringing together clergy and lay delegates from congregations across the state to worship, discern, connect, and participate in the shared work of the Church.

Convention is a time when the Diocese comes together as one body to celebrate God’s mission among us and prayerfully consider the future of our common ministry. Through worship, fellowship, conversation, and deliberation, delegates and leaders reflect on the life of the Diocese, share stories of ministry, and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

During Convention, clergy and elected lay delegates have the opportunity to:

  • Gather in worship and fellowship with Episcopalians from across Utah
  • Hear updates on diocesan ministries and initiatives
  • Consider and vote on resolutions that shape the work of the Diocese
  • Elect diocesan leaders and representatives
  • Recognize individuals and ministries through Convention awards
  • Discern together how we are called to serve Christ and our communities

If you are not elected delegates, you are still encourage to participate! There will be workshops, fellowship opportunities, vendors, and food.

Diocesan Convention is both a time for important decisions and a celebration of the people, ministries, and mission that make up the Episcopal Diocese of Utah.
