As the name suggests, Autumn Gospel invites us as women in “the second half of life” to reflect on past life experience, its insight and wisdom, so we might more fully engage opportunities for spiritual growth and graceful service in our maturing years. Using the writings of spiritual teachers like Parker J. Palmer, Richard Rohr, and Barbara Brown Taylor, we weave our lively discussions of the readings into the conversations of our daily lives. By doing so, we open ourselves to fresh spiritual energy and grace to deepen our relationship with God in Jesus as individuals and together, as companions following in the Way of Jesus. This group draws eight to 11 or 12 women at each meeting—large enough to be rich in ideas, small enough to allow everyone to engage. We are open, warm, and welcoming. We meet on the fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. on-site at St. Luke’s and include those off-site via Zoom. If you would like to join us to sample our joys, our hope, and humor, or to find out anything more, please contact Jessica Hatch at jhsk5046@gmail.com
